Receiver Wiring Adaptor

IMPORTANT
Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items
received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item
is missing, please call
Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.
STEP 1 -- CONNECT WIRES
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Red - 12 Volts Switched Power
Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
Orange - Illumination
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
Blue - Power Antenna
Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-on
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
If vehicle is equipped with a factory amp, connect to
amp remote of new receiver.
The White and Gray speaker wires in the wiring adaptor will not be used.
Connect the front speaker wires of the new receiver to the Green and Violet
wires of the adaptor.
NOTE: 1998-2003 Nissan Frontier with 2-speaker system
Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your
new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
If your receiver does not have an Illumination wire, tape off the Orange wire.
Connect the Black wire of the new receiver to the vehicle chassis.
Individually tape off any unused wires.
Make final wiring connections following instructions on the next page.
