P – Online Coaxial/Twisted Pair Surge Protection Device
Speco Technologies’ SPVP protects equipment from high voltage surges such as lightning strikes. UL grounding requirements for coaxial
cable offers protection from hazardous voltages that may occur. However, because of the physical length of ground wires, UL grounding
systems may appear as an open circuit to lightning and thus provides little to no protection to prevent high frequency surges from getting
into a home and destroying CATV, TVs, cameras, etc. The SPVP can be a valuable addition to this setup to protect your equipment.
