Camera Retention Interface

Connections to be made
• Connect the Black wire to chassis ground.
• Connect the Red wire to accessory power.
• Connect the Green wire to reverse power (switched).
• Connect the Yellow RCA jack to the aftermarket backup camera.
Installing the Interface
• Remove the main connector from the radio, then connect the
male
plug
from the
AX-VW93-CAM
into the radio.
• Connect the
male
factory connector into the
female
plug from the
AX-VW93-CAM
.
• Connect the
AX-VW93-CAM harness
into the AX-VW93-CAM interface.
• Test for correct operation.
• Allows a camera to be added to the factory radio
• Plug-and-play, no cutting of wires required
• Designed for NTSC cameras
• Auto switch in reverse gear
INTERFACE FEATURES
* For vehicles with Composition Media (MIB), Discovery Pro (MIB), Composition
Media (MIB STD2), Discover Media (MIB STD2).
* Vehicle must have an OPS (Optical Parking Sensor) head unit.
* Not compatible with: 3Q0035820A, 3Q0035820, 3Q0035819A, 3Q0035819,
3Q0035812, 5G0035820A, 5G0035820, 5G0035819A, 5G0035819, 5G0035812.
* For Professional installation ONLY, requires specialist equipment and knowledge to
program vehicle on-board settings to enable camera operation.
* Camera must be activated via VCDS. Head unit must be coded.
